Executive Vice President of Operations

Vicki brings over 25 years of experience both operationally and clinically. Prior to her current role, she served as sr. vice president, regional director of operations, administrator and nurse consultant.  Vicki provides oversight for all managed facilities as well as direct oversight for the facilities in Wisconsin, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Iowa.

Kathy Karr
Vice President of Operations

Kathy, with over 35 years of experience in operations and clinical, provides regional support and oversight to managed communities in Minnesota, Nebraska, Illinois and Colorado, as well as leadership and direction in establishing strategies and initiatives to enhance the mission and vision of the organization.

Ann Robinson
Vice President of Quality Improvement

As vice president of quality improvement, Ann Robinson is responsible for the development, implementation, integration, and management of all quality assurance/performance improvement and redesign activities for Health Dimensions Group.

Ms. Robinson comes to HDG with almost 30 years of experience in long-term care and has served in various quality improvement leadership roles, including quality administrator of Lincoln Lutheran for over six years. Ms. Robinson has gone through various quality improvement training programs during her career, and she is a licensed nursing home administrator in the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Pennie Viggiano
Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships and Managed Care
Pennie Viggiano has more than 25 years of experience in the health care industry. As executive director of strategic partnerships and managed care, Ms. Viggiano is responsible for developing strategic partnerships and relationships with care providers on behalf of Health Dimensions Group’s managed communities. Additionally, she provides oversight of managed care contracts and assists in the development of marketing plans, programs, and strategies for
business growth and development.
Randi Hansen
Director of Corporate Compliance/Regulatory Affairs

Randi Hansen brings more than 25 years of nursing expertise and support of nursing leadership in long-term care settings to her role. As director of corporate compliance/regulatory affairs for long-term care facilities managed by HDG, Ms. Hansen establishes and implements HDG’s compliance and HIPAA programs and policies. She ensures that all members of HDG and its client facilities are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies and HIPAA, that company policies and procedures are being followed, and that behavior meets the organization’s code of conduct. Additionally, Ms. Hansen monitors emerging clinical and regulatory trends and policies and statutory developments impacting senior health care services.

Diana Johnson
Clinical Reimbursement Consultant

Diana Johnson provides consultation, education, and training for clients and managed facilities. Ms. Johnson’s expertise in operational assessments, care planning and documentation management, survey processes, restorative programs, minimum dataset (MDS) and prospective payment plan (PPS) audits, and compliance is a tremendous asset to clients across the country.

Michelle Kastenholz
Director of Reimbursement and Therapy Services

As Director of Therapy for managed facilities, Ms. Kastenholz provides field operations management for Health Dimensions Group managed facilities as well as external consulting clients.

Stephanie Cyrus
Senior Financial Consultant

As senior financial consultant, Ms. Cyrus specializes in Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement consulting for long-term care facilities. She has more than 11 years of experience preparing and reviewing Medicare and Medicaid cost reports and providing reimbursement consulting. Ms. Cyrus also has experience in financial modeling and benchmarking for long-term care facilities.

Director of Clinical Services

Jaime Schwingel has more than 20 years of nursing experience in long-term care. Her clinical expertise has given her the ability to reorganize problematic nursing areas into complete and unified structures.

Austin Blilie
Regional Director of Operations

As operational consultant of the Wisconsin Veterans Home at Chippewa Falls, a 72-bed skilled nursing facility in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, Austin Blilie is responsible for the daily operations of the facility and ensures federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations are strictly adhered to and that the highest degree of quality care is provided to residents.

Michael Riley
Safety and Risk Manager Director

Kris Hamann has more than 20 years of experience as a human resources professional. As director of safety and risk management, she develops and implements creative high-performance strategies that reduce overall cost of risk and positively impact the bottom line. Ms. Hamann is accomplished in analyzing business goals to deliver revenue production and continuous improvement through organizational development and hands-on management of people and processes.

Ellen L. First
Clinical Nurse Informaticist

Ellen First possesses more than 30 years of strategy and nursing experience with both large and small health care facilities. She has extensive experience related to health care reform preparedness, strategic and tactical planning, clinical reimbursement assessment and strategies, unplanned readmission reduction strategies, and regulatory turnaround. In addition, Ms. First has extensive experience with implementation and training related to conversion to electronic medical record documentation, as well as significant background in training staff regarding accurate resident assessment instrument (RAI) completion, and she is a certified trainer of the INTERACT quality improvement program.

Michael Riley
MDS Consultant

Mike Riley has been doing MDS work for the past 15 years, with the past three years spent at the regional level. As an MDS consultant for Health Dimensions Group, Mr. Riley provides field support for the MDS/RAI process, where he evaluates current case mix scores, identifies areas of opportunity with case mix scores and processes, and guides facilities to improve case mix with consistent focus and process.

As an MDS coordinator for Health Dimensions Group, Kristine Daute provides field support for the MDS/RAI process, where she evaluates current case mix scores, identifies areas of opportunity with case mix scores and processes, and guides facilities to improve case mix with consistent focus and process.

Clinical Nurse Consultant

Kathie Anderson has more than 25 years of experience in the clinical field and has served in many capacities. As a clinical nurse consultant for Health Dimensions Group, she assists facilities with regulatory compliance, as well as mentors and coaches staff members and performs other related duties as required.
