Star Tribune names Health Dimensions Group a 2022 Top Workplace

MINNEAPOLIS [June 21, 2022]—Health Dimensions Group (HDG) has been named one of the Top Workplaces in Minnesota by the Star Tribune.

Minneapolis-based HDG is a leading post-acute, long-term care, and senior living management and consulting firm. The values-based organization’s experience includes work with 900 clients in all 50 states, including the management and oversight of 47 senior care communities in seven states, serving approximately 2,500 residents and 2,000 team members.

Produced by the same team that compiles the 31-year-old Star Tribune 100 report of the best-performing public companies in Minnesota, Top Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health and satisfaction.

The analysis included responses from over 79,000 employees at Minnesota public, private and nonprofit organizations. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools.

The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, engagement and connection, just to name a few. More than 4,000 organizations were invited to participate.

As part of the Energage survey, HDG employees were asked to provide the three words that best described the HDG culture. Welcoming, transparent, professional, integrity, progressive and forward-thinking all received top responses. HDG team members also gave the company high marks for its values, innovation and inclusion.

“We are delighted to be recognized as a Top Workplace by the Star Tribune. Among the many hundreds of employers that participated in this rigorous program, it is an honor to be placed in this category,” said Erin Shvetzoff Hennessey, Chief Executive Officer of Health Dimensions Group. “This recognition is even more satisfying because our valuable team members are the ones who voted for us and are the reason why we earned this distinction. The senior care industry faces significant workforce challenges recruiting and retaining staff. At HDG, we pride ourselves on recruiting, developing, engaging and empowering our team to deliver industry-leading care and service to our residents, their families and our clients. We share this award with each one of our valued employees.”

Star Tribune Publisher Michael J. Klingensmith said, “The companies in the Star Tribune Top Workplaces deserve high praise for creating the very best work environments in the state of Minnesota. My congratulations to each of these exceptional companies.”
